A 28-year-old woman lost her life when the minibus she was travelling in veered off the road and collided with a FEA post along Queens Road this morning.

A Police statement said:

The driver of a minibus that was involved in a fatal accident that claimed the life of a 28 year old woman is on the run.

The suspect was driving a minibus that was traveling towards Suva when it veered off the road at Lobau, along the Queens Road and collided with a FEA post this morning a little after 0600hrs.

The 28 year old victim died at the scene while another two passengers are admitted in the Colonial War Memorial Hospital with serious injuries but are however able to assist our officers with their investigations.
