Thirteen models from four countries will compete at the World Super Model South Pacific Regional finals for the chance to represent the South Pacific in South Africa later this year.

The modelling competition, which starts at The Pearl South Pacific Resort and Spa this Thursday and ends on Saturday includes models from Fiji, Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.

Fijian models, Mykaela Powell, Vasiti Radekedeke and Salanieta Koro are the Fiji entrants in the competition.

The winner of the competition will travel to Bloemfontein, South Africa in March to represent the South Pacific at the 9th annual World Supermodel production.  The main prize is a Trump Model Management contract, based in New York.

Entrants must demonstrate the ability to be brand ambassadors, the competition website said.
