The Minister for Youth and Sports Hon. Laisenia Tuitubou is currently leading a Ministerial delegation to Beijing, China to discuss the implementation plan to support the development of sport in Fiji.

The visit is part of the Ministry’s efforts in sports cooperation with the Chinese Government and strengthening Fiji’s bilateral relations with China.

Minister Tuitubou is accompanied by his permanent secretary Alison Burchell, senior sports officer Sitiveni Rokoro, and executive chair of the Fiji National Sports Commission Peter Mazey.

Minister Tuitubou will meet with his Chinese counterpart, the newly appointed Minister Mr Gou Zhongwen to discuss areas of mutual interest between the two countries and will proceed to Jiangsu Province to meet state officials there.
