Fiji FA vice-president and National League chairman Yogeshwar Singh said the Rewa and Ba game would be exciting.

“Rewa must beat Ba by two clear goals to win the Youth League, “said Singh.

“A draw or win to Ba will see Labasa winning the title and if Rewa win by a goal it will bring both teams on equal points and then a third match will be decided.

“If Rewa and Labasa stand equal then the final match will be played in Labasa in which the winner will be decided.”
Singh said we are impressed with the performance of teams as they played well.

“The three finalists displayed excellent style of football which has made the competition more interesting.
“We can see that our development programme is bearing fruits as the style of football played by the youths is amazing.”

Singh said they would make the National Youth League more exciting and competitive next year.

“There are plans in changing the Youth League format and come next year we will like to see all districts participating.”

Singh said the youths are our future and we have to look after them well.

The Rewa Galaxy Youth League winner will receive $4000 and the runners-up will pocket $1500. Rewa play Ba on Saturday at the Govind Park, Ba. Kick-off time is 3pm.
