The Fiji U23 side was beaten 4-1 against the Castellon FC in the fifth match of their Spain tour.

The third division LaLiga club gave the Fijian a tough battle and used the mistakes by the Fiji players to score.

The Frank Farina coached side missed seven clear chances to score with forwards Iosefo Verevou, Saula Waqa and Setareki Hughes failing to utilise opportunities.

Coach Frank Farina was very disappointed with mistakes been done by the team.

“I am really disappointed the way our players are making mistakes and giving the opponents chances to score,”

The host scored two goals in the first half and two in the second. ┬áIosefo Verevou scored Fiji’s goal via a penalty kick in the second half.

The team plays its final match on tour against Shenhua Shanghai tomorrow.
