The Vodafone Fiji U17 Football side has been thrashed 11-0 by New Zealand in the semifinal of the 2016 OFC U-17 Women’s Championship at the CIFA Academy in Rarotonga yesterday.

New Zealand got their first goal in the 8th minutes early in the first half.

New Zealand took the game to the breather with a 7-nil lead.

New Zealand U17 women’s side controlled the game well in the second half and booked their place in the final by thumping Fijians 11-0 at the full time.

This is the first time Fiji participated at this tournament.

New Zealand will now play PNG in the final on Sunday.
