The Vodafone Fiji National U23 soccer side drew 1-1 with Hercules FC the second match of the Spain tour at Hercules Sports Stadium in Valencia yesterday.

The Spanish Club which plays in the B-Division in Liga League competition scored first in the 35th minute while the Fijian Captain Alvin Singh equalized with powerful header from a Qasevakatini corner kick five minutes later.

Fiji National U23 coach Frank Farina was happy with the teams performance.

The boys played very well and improved from their last game

The general performance of the players was excellent and I am very happy with the performance

Farina said we are here to learn and the boys are learning in every game.

We will be keep working on our structures and on possession and we will be doing same for all the games

The Fiji National U23 side earlier lost 2-0 to Levante United in their first match. The side plays CF Cracks at 8pm tonight in their third game.

The side is currently on a 6 match Spain tour to prepare and build up for the 2016 RIO Olympics which will be played in Brazil later this year.
