Striders thrash Central Chiefs 2

The second day of the the 2016 Bayleys Fiji Coral Coast 7s kicked-off at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka today. The women took over Lawaqa Park first, with the Striders defeating the Central Chiefs 2, 42-0. The second day of the the 2016 Bayleys Fiji Coral Coast 7s kicked-off at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka today.

The women took over Lawaqa Park first, with the Striders defeating the Central Chiefs 2, 42-0.

In other matches;

  • (W)NZ Raiders defeat Marist Seahawks 17-5.
  • (W)Nadi Blazers defeat Mystic Knights 15-5.
  • (W)Central Chiefs defeat Coastline Roos 33-7.
  • Police defeats Shagri-La Daveta 33-7.
  • Aussie Thunderbolts defeats Outrigger 21-7.

In a crucial game for quarter final spots Tabadamu ran out winners in the second half, defeating Hideaway 17-7.

The Suva Stallions and Red Rock game turned into a close one with two second half tries to Red Rock then a comeback try in the final minute to get Suva Stallions over the line. Suva Stallions defeated Red Rock 17-14.
