Vatemo Ravouvou and Amenoni Nasilasila have been ruled out due to illness and injury, this now enables Emosi Mulevoro and Sevuloni Mocenacagi to play in the inaugural Vancouver 7s tomorrow morning.

Both, Emosi Mulevoro and Sevuloni Mocenacagi  did not play in Las Vegas  because of injuries, the duo have been passed fit.

Fiji’s final squad for the Vancouver Sevens in Canada are as follows:

  • Osea Kolinisau
  • Nemani Nagusa
  • Jasa Veremalua
  • Masivesi Dakuwaqa
  • Isake Katonibau
  • Pio Tuwai
  • Emosi Mulevoro  
  • Josua Vici
  • Jerry Tuwai
  • Kitione Taliga
  • Savenaca Rawaca.

The Fijian side currently leads the World 7’s series standings with 91 points and are five points apart from South Africa who are in second place with 86 points. New Zealand is at third place with 82 points.

Fiji will be playing their first pool game against Samoa at 6.14am tomorrow. They will then face Portugal at 9.50am before taking on Kenya at 2 pm tomorrow.

The Cup quarterfinals will start at 6.08am the coming Monday, followed by the semifinals at 10.08am and the Cup final is scheduled to kickoff at 1 pm on Monday afternoon.
