Sky Pacific has confirmed that it will broadcast the 2016 Rio Olympic Games with a minimum of 200 hours of live action on the TVWAN Life Channel.

Digicel Fiji Chief Executive Officer Darren McLean said Sky Pacific had been the leading broadcaster for the Olympic Games for some years in Fiji and the Pacific, and the tradition continues this year from Rio.

MCLEAN: “We are delighted to announce that we will be offering our valued customers extensive live coverage of the 2016 Rio Olympics. We’ll be bringing viewers hundreds of hours of sports action on Sky Pacific including the Rugby Sevens, Athletics, Swimming and Boxing.”

“The Olympics is a major global sporting event that shouldn’t be missed and we are delighted that Sky Pacific will bring access to our customers for the 17 days of the competition.”

Sky Pacific will begin coverage on 4th August.
