The Vodafone Fijian 7s speedster Samisoni Viriviri is in par with training and could be one of those lucky twelve to don the white jumper and represent Fiji to the Olympic games next month.

Looking at his past performance Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan said the Dratabu, Nadi native was well in shape.

RYAN: “All these guys are doing well Samisoni Viriviri is looking back to the Semi a few years ago he is looking sharp, and he is gone well in training playing in both Rover and Wing.”

Veteran Fijian national rugby player Pio Tuwai chances to Rio is now slimmer after he was admitted to the hospital on Monday night.

However, Ryan still awaits his medical reports to finalise he’s decisions.

RYAN: “Pio may or may not be considered. I would like to hear medically of what happened first before I can make any pubic announcements”

Ryan names the final 12 member squad on Saturday.

Fiji takes on Brazil in its opening match at 4.30am on August 10th, Argentina at 9.30am and plays the USA in its last pool match at 4.30am on August 11th.
