The Fiji 7s men’s side intense training in the past few weeks and their numerous runs up the Sigatoka Sand Dunes has helped decreased their body fat percentage.

Coach Ben Ryan said on twitter that 90 percent of the squad are under eight percent body fat and the lowest is around 16.9 percent.

Ryan was also impressed with his big boys as Leone Nakarawa who is currently weighing in at 119kg and has only 9 percent body fat.

Both the Fiji 7s men’s and women’s trained in the Sand Dunes early yesterday morning.

The Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama will be announcing the Vodafone Fiji 7s team tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Jarryd Hayne departed the country for Australia yesterday.

Hayne who was dropped by Ben Ryan from the Fiji 7s extended squad on Monday was farewelled by staffs and players at the Uprising Beach Resort.

Fiji will take on Brazil in their first game at 4.30am on August 10th, they will then face Argentina at 9.30am before taking on USA at 4.30am on August 11th.
