FASANOC staff and volunteers led by Vice-president Makarita Lenoa and Finance Manager Sharlene Wong are leading the way for Team Fiji supporters by displaying Fiji flags all over Olympic House, Bau Street Suva.

Team Fiji chef de mission Cathy Wong is urging the people of Fiji and members of the public to throw their support behind Team Fiji by displaying the Fiji flag wherever they may be.

CATHY: “Let’s show Team Fiji that we are behind them by flying the Fiji flag high from when Team Fiji football starts tomorrow to when the last sport Team Fiji will be participating in.”

Meanwhile, the support for Team Fiji has been steadily growing with social media facebook and twitter flooded with well wishes.

Vehicles and people travelling past Olympic House actually started shouting “Go Fiji Go” which just to go that the public is waiting for Team Fiji to perform at the Rio Olympic Games which begins tomorrow.

FASANOC encourages people to send their well wishes to Team Fiji with pictures or video to the Team Fiji facebook page or twitter account Team Fiji and hashtag team Fiji with  ‪#‎gofijigo‬ ‪#‎unitedFJ4Rio‬
