$20k sponsorship for Marist 7s tournament

The Fiji Bitter Marist 7s has received a sponsorship of twenty thousand dollars from Coca-Cola Amatil Fiji yesterday.

Marist 7s Tournament Coordinator, Koli Korovulavula said the sponsorship will boost players and officials at the upcoming tournament.

Coca-Cola Amatil Fiji has been in the forefront of sponsoring activities that continually support an active participative environment.

A global brand supporting grass roots talents ,means the sky is the limit for our players with this type of quality support and we are truly thankful for Coca- Cola Fiji for supporting such an important event in an important year for all of us in Fiji .

$14,000 is the worth of drinks that will be for the players and volunteers while $5,000 will be used for the 36 additional marquees.

President of the Marist Rugby Club and Chairman of the organizing committee Lawrence Tikaram was very grateful to Coca-Cola Amatil Fiji.

All players will be provided International Brand sports drink “Powerade” after each game as part of the sponsorship.

This provides well for the platform that we at Marist Rugby Club promote in ensuring proper welfare of our players and officials.

This is surely timely and well received by all players and officials over 350 who will be organizing and running the event.

Mr. Tikaram said that they are grateful to the General Manager of Coca-Cola Amatil Fiji, Mr. Roger Hare for making the assistance possible.

Damodar group of companies has also partnered to sponsor the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s.

Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Div Damodar said they will provide movie tickets to the teams who win the Bowl, Plate and Cup final.

Fiji Bitter Marist 7s will be hosting 72 teams (64 Men, 6 Oldies and 6 Women teams )with over 1800 players and officials.

The Fiji Bitter Marist 7s will be held on the 22nd -23rd April at the ANZ Stadium.
