The Fiji Meteorological Service said two cyclones were named over the past 24 hours, with Tropical Depression 09F upgraded to Tropical Cyclone Winston, and the other system named Tropical Cyclone Tatiana.

According to Fiji MET, Tropical Cyclone Winston poses no threat to Fiji as it will pass to the far west of Fiji.

There has been a notable change in the weather in that the cloud cover has lifted this morning, welcoming the sun to places which were flooded yesterday.

This is expected to continue right throughout today and even into tomorrow, but it will be good to note that Tropical Cyclone Winston still lingers to the west, and every once in a while, some of its rainbands can come our way which can lead to isolated heavy falls.

Winds will mainly be northerly which could be gusty at times.
