The Nadi Weather Office in the last hour has cancelled the storm warning previously in place parts of the Lau Group, with Tropical Cyclone Ula no longer posing a direct threat to Fiji.
Director of Meteorology Mr. Ravind Kumar says showers should be expected in some places today:

Strong wind warning previously in force for Fulaga, Ogea and Ono-i-Lau is cancelled. A gale warning is in force for Ono-i-Lau, Vanua Levu, Taveuni. A strong wind warning remains in force for the rest of the Lau Group, Yasawa, and Mamanuca groups, Northern and southern Viti Levu, Lomaiviti, Kadavu, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands.

Tropical Cyclone Ula was located about 205km southwest of Ono-i-Lau or about 360km south-southwest of Kabara at 9am today.  The Cyclone is moving southwest at about 15km per hour.
