The AG thanked the University for their generous contribution towards helping ordinary Fijians rebuild their lives in the aftermath of TC Winston.

“We appreciate this contribution by USP and it’s good to see our institutions of higher learning dig deep to help Fiji get back on its feet. Fijians affected by TC Winston need all the help that can be given and we are grateful to all those who have answered our calls for assistance,” he said.

Professor Rajesh Chandra said the university would continue to work in close partnership with the Government of Fiji and USP’s member countries.

“We want to work very closely with the efforts of the Government in this very difficult time,” he said.
