Prime Minister Hon. Voreqe Bainimarama has commended students in Suva, Navua and from schools in the Western Division for contributing towards Government’s relief and recovery efforts.

The Head of Government made the comments when he received a cash donation today of $93,513.00 from the Ministry of Education, Heritage and Arts that will be used for those directly affected by Tropical Cyclone Winston.

In receiving the donation from the Minister for Education Hon. Dr. Mahendra Reddy, the Prime Minister said it was commendable that students had also pitched in to assist the Government in the rehabilitation work across the country.

Dr. Reddy said the donation was collected by schools from Suva, Navua and Western divisions that were not affected by Tropical Cyclone Winston.
