The Prime Minister Honorable Voreqe Bainimarama  started his four-day tour of the Northern Division yesterday.

Prime Minister Bainimarama visited affected schools and villages caused by TC Winston.

The Prime Minister yesterday visited the Vuya District School, Immaculate Conception College, Baravi Primary School, and villages of Sawani, Nasawana, Nasavu, Nawaido and Vuya where he enlightened them on Government’s post-Tropical Cyclone Winston relief and rehabilitation efforts.

PM Bainimarama also took the opportunity to elaborate on the new “Help for Homes” initiative that would provide assistance for those whose homes were damaged as a result of the Category 5 Tropical Cyclone.

The Prime Minister will make stopovers at the Savusavu Bulk in Naqere, Savusavu Secondary School, Buca Public School.Nacekoro, Rava Settlement, Nukubalavu,

PM Bainimarama will also visit villages along the way beginning from Nacekoro village to Rava Settlement, Nukubalavu, Naidi and Nagigi, Vivili, Dromoninuku, Naweni and Tacilevu.

PM Bainimarama will end his tour visiting the Kubulau district, Kiobo village, and Kubulau Government Station and stop over at Waisa, Natokalau, and Nasasaivua village
