Coca-Cola gives $150,000 towards relief fund

The Fijian Government today received a cash donation of $150,000 from Coca-Cola Amatil (Fiji) Limited for the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief and Rehabilitation Fund.

Coca-Cola National Sales and Overseas Business Manager, Lawrence Tikaram handed over the assistance to the Minister for Rural and Maritime Development and National Disaster Management, Hon. Inia Seruiratu.

Mr. Tikaram thanked the Government for its commitment to the people of Fiji and its delivery of services during the rehabilitation period.

Mr. Tikaram commended the work of the Prime Minister for inspiring many ordinary Fijians to rebuild their lives and said that the contribution was also a token of appreciation to the government.

Acknowledging the donation, Minister Seruiratu conveyed the appreciation of the government and said that partnership with the private sector is critical in rebuilding Fiji.
