Auckland’s Hindi FM Radio, Humm 106.2FM raised nearly FJD$30,000 during its cyclone Winston radio appeal.

According to a statement released by the station, the appeal was launched on Sunday while category five cyclone Winston was spreading its devastation in Fiji.

Fiji Red Cross Society National President, Cathy Wong says she is overwhelmed by what Auckland’s Hindi FM Radio, Humm 106.2 FM and its listeners have done for the people of Fiji. She adds this donation will strengthen Fiji Red Cross Society, which has been providing support to affected people from the beginning.
