The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) will shut down all traffic signals in Suva throughout the long weekend to ‘avoid confusion to the road users and protect the traffic signal circuitry’.

In a statement released today, FRA Maintenance Works Manager, Mr. Aram Goes said the traffic signals intersection will be controlled by signs and cones and the traffic Police marshals will assist the public throughout this period.

We are urging the public to exercise extreme caution on our roads, slow down, be courteous and obey all traffic directions.

FRA appreciates the support from the Police for their on-going efforts in managing traffic safety and congestion across Suva’s increasingly busy streets.
