Post mortem for deceased electrician, cause of death severe electrical burns

The post-mortem has been conducted on the victim of alleged electrocution namely Vilivo Nayabo. Police Spokesperson, Inspector Josaia Weicavu said the cause of death has been attributed to severe electrical burns sustained from the electrocution.

Vilivo Nayabo, the 26-year-old man who was electrocuted at Natabua in Lautoka on 28/02/2016 passed away in Lautoka Hospital last Saturday night.

Mahen Prasad, owner of Power Electric confirmed to Newswire yesterday that a compensation is being arranged to be paid to the deceased’s family.

Nayabo had his arm amputated due to the severity of injuries. He died after 2 weeks in the Intensive Care Unit.
