The event, due to be held this November is a collaboration between local artists, Nem and Talei Draunibaka and Fiji One.

Nemani and Talei are two local renowned musicians and have just returned from China where they’ve spent the last three years.

A statement sent today confirmed the agreement for the event that will take us back to the past through songs, compositions, and composers that have set and influenced music in Fiji.

Ms Draunibaka said the programme will be a tribute to “honor some of Fiji’s outstanding performers, composers and poetic songwriters of yesteryears and understanding the story behind the story.”

Fiji TV Chief Executive Officer, Geoffrey Smith said the programme would appreciate local musicians.

The event is scheduled for the 12th of November, 2016 at the Grand Pacific Hotel (GPH).
