The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Mr Christopher Pryde, has decided that no criminal charges will be filed against the former Assistant Commissioner (ACP) Henry Brown as a result of a review of the Police files.

Mr Pryde confirmed receiving three files from Police on former ACP Henry Brown alleging abuse of office in three separate matters.  Mr Pryde said:

“Following a review of each of the three files, we have advised Police that there is insufficient evidence to proceed and that, accordingly, no criminal charges will be filed.
