Daylight saving will end on Sunday 17th of January, 2016 at 3:00am, more than two months after it started on November 1, 2015.

A Government statement said:

The Ministry for Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations would like to remind the public that daylight saving will end on Sunday 17th of January, 2016 at 3:00am.

Minister for Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations, Hon. Semi Koroilavesau said that daylight saving allowed more daylight hours to be used for productive and recreational activities by the public.

Members of the public are advised to wind their clocks backward by one hour before going to bed on Saturday 16th January, 2016.
