This is the second term of the sponsorship after the company started supporting the fete in 2014.

Digicel Fiji’s CEO, Mr. Darren McLean said the company was proud to support the Festival because it will bring people from all walks of life together for charity fundraising and entertainment.

MCLEAN: “I want to sincerely thank the committee for the opportunity provided to Digicel to sponsor this festival for the third successive year.”

The Nadi Bula Festival has done a lot of charity work in the community over the past years, and a comprehensive program is being organised for charity fundraising this year.

MCLEAN: “You have worked hard and we are proud to be associated with this festival, which has been organized for the past 56 years, the only unbroken festival in the country.”

“We are proud to partner with the tourist town’s largest community gathering especially when Nadi is going to be declared a City next year. I am sure the people of jet-set town are looking forward to becoming the third city in the country.”

Nadi Bula Festival Association President, Mr. Leone Naivalu was appreciative to Digicel Fiji for their continued sponsorship.

NAIVALU:”The sponsorship will help our committee organize another successful festival, as we continue to raise funds for the needy and for noble causes.”

A pre-Bula night Tropical Cyclone Winston appeal concert to help needy children’s education needs will kick-off things.

There are also plans to assist the Nadi Hospital refurbishment and extension, refurbishment works at the Nadi civic auditorium and assist the St. Mina orphanage home with their wish-list this year.

The Digicel Nadi Bula Festival will be held at Koroivolu and Prince Charles Park from 23rd to 30th July.
