An Australian television series production will be shot in Fiji later this year.

This was confirmed by Film Fiji chief executive officer Dallas Foon.

Mr Foon said the show will be a boost for the Fiji Tourism sector.

FOON: “We have another international show as well, another large show coming in from Australia later this year. The show will be shown in Australia and all around the world. They will be shooting a full season and is another boost for the country.”

Film Fiji chairman Shaenaz Voss said a Bollywood has concluded filming in the country and also a French Film production is currently scouting in one of the outer islands.

VOSS: “We got a French Film production scouting here at the moment in one of the outter island and we just concluded one of the Bollywood films that was shot here, mostly in Nadi. Alot of scouting is happening right now and there are productions intrested in shooting in Fiji.”
