A total of ten passengers and two bus drivers were rushed to Suva’s Colonial War Memorial Hospital after two buses collided near the Matanikorovatu junction in Nasinu this morning.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the incident occurred at 9am when a bus undertaking a U-turn crashed into a bus on its way to Suva at the junction.

NAISORO: “The impact resulted in both buses hitting a concrete fence belonging to Standard Concrete. Both drivers were conveyed to hospital with 10 other passengers for medical treatment.”

Naisoro said police investigations continue.
