A two-day Government roadshow will be held from today, hoping to increase awareness on government products and services.

The roadshow will be held at Nakavika Primary School in the district of Wainikoroiluva in Namosi, and will have the theme ‘Empowering Fiji’s Rural Sector’.

Acting Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Rural & Maritime Development and National Disaster Management, Mr Setareki Tale said:

We are expecting more than 4000 people during the two day event within the province of Namosi as it also coincides with the Namosi day, therefore a lot of people are expected to converge at Nakavika tomorrow.

Minister for Youth and Sports, Hon. Laisenia Tuitubou will deliver the opening address for the event.
