Fulton Hogan Hiways (North) has completed stabilising and sealing almost 5,000 square metres of seven frequently used roads in Labasa Town, says FHH Labasa Depot Sealing Supervisor, Anil Genda.

FRA contracts FHH to maintain road networks in the Northern Division.

The seven roads are Rara Avenue, which is the backroad to Subrail Park, James Madhwan and Nadawa roads, and Rasawa, Nanuku, Jaduram, and Damanu streets.

Surrounding these roads are various service, academic, retail, and law enforcement offices and buildings such as the North Pole Hotel, Labasa Sangam College, Labasa Police Station, government departments, and hardware store RC Manubhai.

“Close to 3,000 vehicles travel through these seven newly stabilised and sealed roads daily. The work on these roads is part of FHH North’s porthole reduction strategy to maintain its assets for the benefit of the travelling public,” said Mr Genda.
