The Matainipusi Hill along the Queens road is reduced to a single lane due to an oil spill earlier today.

FRA Acting Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Rory Garland said that FRA will continue with the traffic management until the site is deemed safe.

GARLAND: “We have alerted Fulton Hogan Hiways to set up traffic management and the National Fire Authority to clear the spill.”

Mr. Garland has urged members of the public to take extra care whilst traveling around the area and that emergency services and traffic crews are now on site.
