Police and Corrections officers are looking for 35-yeard-old Abdul Hakik, an inmate of Natabua Correction facility.

Corrections Service spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri told Newswire that they were seeking information from the public for Hakik’s whereabouts.

Abdul is sentenced to serve 21 months for an offence of obtaining property by false deception.

Being part of the Yellow Ribbon project, Abdul got an early release employment with Relaxer Transport of Lautoka.

Corrections officers discovered he was missing when they visited his workplace on Monday, March 21.  Anyone with information on his whereabouts are requested to contact  917 or 919 or your nearest Police station.
