Brigadier-General Qiliho said ACP Brown was currently on leave and would resume work on 19th of January.  He said the investigating team would talk to ACP Brown when he reported back to work.

Brigadier-General Qiliho said the file would be forwarded to him after ACP Brown was interviewed and will make his decisions based on the findings in the report.

Speaking to the Fiji Sun, the acting Commissioner of Police Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho says he will await Brown’s side of the story.

Now that the team tasked to investigate ACP Brown‘s case have finalised their investigation, it’s only fair they also listen to his side of the story.

The acting Police Commissioner also stressed that any complaints against senior Police officers would be investigated thoroughly and a decision would be made based on the outcome.

Brown was sent on leave late last year following a serious allegation that came up which was needed to be investigated.  It is unclear what the allegation is.
