A house consisting of five flats, which was home to five families was completely destroyed to the ground yesterday evening after it caught fire.

Police Spokesperson Naina Ragigia said the fire is alleged to have started from one of the flats situated at the back.

All tenants in the flats managed to escape the fire with no injuries sustained.

The incident occurred at Komave settlement in Nabua at around 7.15pm last night.

Investigations continue into the matter and cost of damages is yet to be ascertained at this time.
