A 30-year-old driver is admitted at the CWM Hospital after the vehicle he was driving collided head on with another vehicle driven by another 30-year-old man conveying three other passengers aged 22, 32 and 39 years along Bau Road, Tailevu on Friday night.

Police Spokesperson, Inspector Josaia Weicavu said the three passengers were admitted at Nausori hospital, however, their driver did not get hurt.

Inspector Weicavu said drivers need to be more responsible.

We again warned drivers to take some responsibilities when using our roads. While accident tends to happen, some driver’s attitude is needed to be corrected. Drivers are to drive with total due care and attention and respect other road users when driving on our roads. Drive within the specified zone speed limits and always practice road safety.
