A 22-year-old man charged with one count of ‘Aggravated robbery’ and one count of ‘Theft of motor vehicle’ for his alleged involvement in an aggravated robbery case at the home of a businessman in Samabula.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said he will be appearing at the Suva Magistrates Court today.

Naisoro said the incident occurred early Saturday morning whereby a black Honda CRV registration number FH 787 was stolen.

NAISORO: “The vehicle was found abandoned in Valelevu and hard work by the investigators have managed to track down the 22-year-old suspect.”

Police are seeking information from the public to locate a vehicle that was stolen in Suva yesterday.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the black Honda CRV registration FH 787 was stolen during an early morning robbery in Samabula yesterday.

NAISORO: “The vehicle was stolen from the home of a businessman after 1am in the morning by two unknown men who entered the home of the victim who was alone at the time of the incident.”

Naisoro requested anyone with the information that could assist investigators is requested to call Crime Stoppers on 919 or 9905 399.
