A woman charged with one count each of ‘Managing a Brothel’ and ‘Operating a business without a valid licence’ appeared at the Suva Magistrates’ Court.

Savita Devi appeared before Magistrate Jioji Boseiwaqa yesterday.

It is alleged that she was managing a brothel inside a massage parlour in Nabua in 2011.

Devi pleaded not guilty to both charges.

She will re­appear in court on the 31st of August, 2016 to fix a trial date.

The Magistrates Court extended her bail.
