Two new judges were sworn in at Government House yesterday before the President and senior members of the judiciary.

  • Mr Chandana Prematilaka –  holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in Sri Lanka and a Masters of Law and Advanced Certificate in International Trade Law and has also over 25 years of experience in legal practice.
  • Justice Anthony Fernando –  holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Colombo and was admitted and enrolled as an Attorney at Law of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Sri Lanka.  He was appointed the Attorney General of the Republic of Seychelles from 1999 to 2008. Prior to his appointment, he was appointed Justice of the Court of Appeal of Seychelles.
