The Ministry of Health has called on the public to be cautious after 8 cases of dengue were confirmed in the North.

Minister for  Health Jone Usamate said, “with the dengue season here, the public has an important role in preventing the disease.”

“The message to our people is to go out there and destroy mosquito breeding places. So that it doesn’t get any worse and I think that is something that all of us need to do. If everybody looks after their own backyard and communities look after their area we will be able to address that,” he added.
