Miss Dunn said representing Fiji at the regional event was an experience of a lifetime.

“I am very excited to be chosen as the ambassador for Climate Change. It is one of the biggest issues faced by every country in the region and I have decided to take it on,” Miss Dunn said.

“I do realise that there are many non-governmental organisations and programmes within communities and government to address the issue. I hope to involve myself in one of those projects and do something that would help to change at least one activity or one way that climate change affects us as a region.”

Her message to other young women intending to take part in future pageants is to strive forward and to do their best.
