Minister for Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations Semi Koroilavesau stated this during his week-long public consultations last week in the northern division.

KOROILAVESAU: “Only 20 per cent is contributed by Government, hence the need to secure dedicated, good attitude and disciplined workers with a clear focus for this employment opportunity.”

“The ministerial visit to Australia this year on the complaints received under the seasonal worker programme was due to the non-performance of certain individuals that were sent on the seasonal worker programme as their inexperience in agricultural farming and social interference diverted their attention away from the seasonal work focus.”
