This was the key message by the Permanent Secretary for Employment, Productivity & Industrial Relations Mrs Salaseini Daunabuna at the per-departure orientation training certificates presentation that was presented to twenty seasonal workers bound for Australia and New Zealand.

PS Daunabuna urged the workers to maintain their focus on their goals and to learn as much as possible during their learning season.

“They have selected you for your talents in the Tourism & Hospitality Industry and now is the time for you to shine and use your talents.  Please maintain the trust with your employer, work as a team, be loyal and ask questions when you don’t understand something. Smart people ask questions and are at work on time. Time is money and once you are late – you’ll be counted as a liability for the company,” the PS stated.

The workers will be based at Cable Beach Resort and Spa in Broome, Western Australia and the New Zealand RSE Employer – Hortus located in Hastings, New Zealand.
