These were the words of Education Minister, Dr. Mahendra Reddy, speaking at the National Counselling Workshop conducted at Suva Vocational Centre.

Dr. Reddy said current problems faced by children are a result of gradual decline in quality time parents spend with their children.

We should talk to our children, rather than someone else.  If we talk to them we will know early signs of problems they going through.

We can’t block information on social media but we should know what our children are accessing.

Dr. Reddy said the Education Ministry’s revised curriculum includes things like sex education.
