Korean delegation explore investment opportunities

An 8-member delegation from the Korea-Fiji Friendship Association had preliminary discussions with Investment Fiji on Friday.

Some roads remain closed in Western and Northern divisions

The Fiji Roads Authority is advising the public to find alternative routes where possible and take precaution as some roads remain closed and impassable after the torrential downpour over the past week.

Fiji Group 8 AM: A heavy rain warning remains in force for the eastern half of Viti Levu, Yasawa and Mamanuca Group, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti Group.  A heavy rain alert remains in force for the rest of Fiji.

4 AM: A flood alert remains in force for low-lying areas and small streams adjacent to major rivers in Vanua Levu and the eastern half of Viti Levu.

FORECAST: Periods of rain, heavy at time and few thunderstorms over the eastern half of Viti Levu, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti group. Elsewhere, cloudy periods with some showers and isolated afternoon or evening thunderstorms.
