Three former Post Fiji Limited employees charged with thirty (30) counts by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) appeared in the Magistrate court today.

Matorino Madogo Kautanagauna, Seaqaqa Raiqeu and Selita Nabori have been charged with 30 counts of dishonestly appropriating money belonging to Post Fiji Limited totaling $193,491.70.

It is alleged that the trio used false Telegraphic Money Orders with the intention of permanently depriving Post Fiji Limited of the cash.

These offenses are alleged to have occurred between June and October of 2010.

The trio first appeared in court on the 27th of March 2013 in Suva.

The accused persons were represented by Legal Aid assistance in their case are on strict bail conditions since 2013.

Magistrate Liyanage Priyantha adjourned the matter to 17 October to set a hearing date.
