Fiji’s Honorary Consul in Busan Mr. Ho Young Yeom said that Fiji’s colorful and vibrant booth complimented by attendants who were Fijian students studying in Busan and spoke fluent Korean was a plus.

I am very happy to be part of the Fiji team here and have been impressed with the presentation by the Fiji students manning the booth. They speak fluent Korean and those passing through here have been able to receive first-hand information from Fijians themselves about all that Fiji has to offer. The locals themselves have been very impressed

University student Sunia Loga said visitors to the booth sought information about Fiji’s tourism industry and opportunities for students to study English adding Fiji as a honeymoon destination was also high on the agenda of many young couples.

We’ve been very busy and I am just happy to be able to help the embassy and promote Fiji as the way the world should be to enthusiastic Koreans who have been coming here these last few days.

According to the organizers, over 600,000 people are expected to pass through the fair which ends on September 14.
