Vodafone Fiji today celebrated its 22nd birthday anniversary at one of its shopping outlets at Damodar City in Suva.

Present at the event was Vodafone Fiji 7s team captain Osea Kolinisau who was also the chief guest and his father Reverend Tui Kolinisau.

Vodafone Fiji acting CEO Ronald Prasad acknowledged its customers for choosing Vodafone as their mobile network.

PRASAD: “Thank you very much for being here this morning and we are here to celebrate Vodafone’s 22nd Birthday. There is a lot that Vodafone Fiji has does not only for Fiji but for the all the citizens here in the country.”

Mr Prasad said that Vodafone has been behind the scenes in sponsoring vast sports in Fiji.

PRASAD: “If you look at it we are the men behind sports in Fiji. The team has done so well and everyone is hopeful for the first gold medal in Rio.

Mr Prasad said its customers were a vital component to their business.

PRASAD: “As part of our celebration we would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers. It is our customers that has made us number one. And we have been in a very competitive for us operating for the last eight to nine years. For that we remained Fiji’s premier and the best loved network , so Vodafone continues to be the number one network in Fiji.”

Vodafone 7s captain Osea Kolinisau thanked Vodafone Fiji for the surprise gift and as well their continuous support in every 7s tournament.

Kolinisau was the first to be awarded the Smart Home Family package.
