Digicel Fiji CEO, Darren McLean said this will improve internet access and the customer experience for the people in the densely populated Nasinu, along with Ba and Labasa.

McLEAN: “We announced a major 4G rollout in 2014 and demand has been very high.  We are now extending this so people in Nasinu, Ba and Labasa can also enjoy the latest in technology. This will enhance the way people communicate in these areas and will provide cutting edge solutions for our corporate customers.”

Mr McLean said Digicel’s 4G broadband is super fast, affordable and reliable and is underpinned by Digicel’s commitment to best value, best network, best service.

McLEAN: “This investment highlights our ongoing commitment to the West and Vanua Levu. Central Labasa town towards the sugar mill and hospital, and on the other end up near Waiqele Airport. The greater Nasinu area including Nakasi and Tovata and Ba town area also are powered by the Digicel 4G network.”

The introduction of Digicel 4G in the areas will also benefit many new and existing Unwired customers who will see an improved performance in these areas.

McLEAN: “Our customers in these areas are now able to access world class internet speeds at home, work and on the go.  My message to those who are not already Digicel customers it’s time to move.”
