A leading supermarket chain has launched a website allowing customers to purchase items and order deliveries online.

According to RB Patel Group Limited (RP Patel), the website www.rbpatel.com.fj is targeted at expatriate Fijians living and working overseas.

RB Patel: “Families staying overseas who are not able to be part of family functions like birthdays, marriages, funerals, religious functions can now contribute directly to these functions and events by simply going to our online group.”

Selected items such as grocery, household items, stationeries, and toys are available for purchase from the website.   Shopping vouchers and gift vouchers are available online to send to families and friends living in Fiji.

RB Patel will charge $15 for deliveries within urban areas and $25 for addresses outside city/town boundaries.

In 2015, RB Patel’s supermarket turnover was $105 million with a profit after tax of $5.9 million.
